At PS Dental Care, it is our mission to bring smiles to the faces of each of our unique patients. Whilst this, in theory, this may be the goal of most dental practices - here at PS Dental Care, we achieve it through somewhat of a different approach to our services. We firmly believe that no two of our patients are the same, and that each case ought to be viewed and tackled in a way that is entirely moulded around the needs and desires of each individual. All too often, dental practices these days simply adopt a standardised approach to dentistry in which patients are not necessarily treated based on their individual needs, but rather viewed as one in a series of indistinguishable mouths.Whilst we do not wish to badmouth our competition, we’ve found that by taking a more individual and personal stance to our approach, a far more durable and long standing relationship can develop between our practitioners and patients, and an all round happier dental service can be carried out.
Fits like a glove
One such treatment which is tailored around the specific shapes and requirements of our patients, which we offer here as a dentist in Soho, is the installation of discrete dental aligners such as Invisalign. These are vastly popular and relatively new methods of orthodontics which replaces the use of conventional orthodontic tools, such as metal wires or fused brackets - which are often negatively impactful on a patients outward appearance, with a plastic retainer. This retainer is made from a plastic called Smarttrack. When placed over your teeth, this retainer uses carefully places pressure points within it, to slowly align a patient's teeth back into the required place. Each installation of Invisalign is entirely unique, as each retainer is created from a mould of each patient's teeth. The results of which allow the retainer to fit so well over the patient's teeth that it is virtually undetectable. This may explain why the procedure is favoured by teenagers or young adults, instead of more conventional methods of orthodontics - such as traditional braces - Invisalign uniquely provides patients the option to undergo essential orthodontic realignment, without the added scrutiny from friends and family. Since its initial launch in 2001, the Invisalign system has restored the smiles of over 6 million happy patients, with a staggering 2.4 million of these being teenagers - and it’s showing no signs of slowing down. It is an orthodontic system like no other, and allows patients to face life head-on, and with a smile on their face - all whilst achieving a straightener, healthier looking smile.
